Timestretch Visualizer

An iTunes visual plug-in for MacOS X.
Timestretch Visualizer requires MacOS X 10.0 and up. (Tested on 10.0.4 - 10.3) A fast G4 is recommended. Reduce the window size for acceptable performance on slower machines.

376K - For iTunes on MacOS X

History
Timestretch Visualizer is based on Juliamation, a BeOS screensaver that draws animated Julia sets. I ported it back to MacOS as a MacAST (MacAMP) visual plug in, adding more fractals, color, and music synchronization. I ported it to MacOS X when Apple released the iTunes visual plug-in API. It is written in C++, and was compiled in Apple's new ProjectBuilder.

Installation
Quit iTunes. Drag the Timestretch-Visualizer.bundle to ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/ where ~ is your home directory. Launch iTunes and choose the TimestretchVisualizer option from the Visuals Menu. Then click on the Visuals menu again and choose Turn Visuals On to start displaying the animation. You can also toggle full screen mode and change the view size in the same menu.

Instructions
Press the "C" key to change the parameters and fractal formula.

Timestretch Visualizer is freeware. Please distribute it far and wide without making modifications.

I was just checking out your videos, they're pretty cool - good job. I was curious, what kind of camera did you use to shoot them? Thanks and good luck with your future projects.

A Canon ZR10 was used to make all of the videos. I used the lens that came with it, although I have just purchased a wide angle lens to use in future projects.

Could you compile a universal binary of the TimeStretch visualizer, or release some source code? It doesn't work on intel macs.

I would love to use this program on my intel mac. Can you update your program to fix this issue?
